I know many people pursuing high education for their whole life: Master degrees, Ph.D, Doctor, MBA, Executive training, various certifications…
Some of them pursue high education to land a more desirable job, new career; some to satisfy her own curiosity; some to hind from the real life…
Learn is to grow, to use, to be valuable.
The higher education you have, the more demanding for you to share your knowledge with others, to connect with others, to apply your influence to others.
The risk is that the higher education you have created bigger gap for you to apply your learning, meaning fewer people can catch up with you. You may also create steeper learning curve for the people around you.
You can either jump out of the ship to join another boat with the hope they can understand you, or face the reality to figure out how to use your learning to the people in your tribe. If you continue high education without using them, you are hiding. Your education shows little value to your tribe or community.
Knowledge and information are for sharing, applying, and making changes.
High education demands action applying the learning.
